Condolence: Trudy was special cousin to me. I talked her often and the last time I talked with her was 3 weeks ago. She was tired, weak, in pain and stated I don't want to stay on this earth one day more than I have too. She was intelligent ,stong,proud,but most of all determined person. Determined to be nurse,determined to to find out about her disease and research her medications so she could tell the Drs want was best for her. Our conversations varied on books,politics,sports, mar-jong a Chinese game she loved to play,religion and of course nursing. She was always interested in projects Bob was working on,cars, the hummer roofing our house,and loved to send newpaper clippings of cars or car shows around PA or any information about cars that would interest Bob. We attended the Hersey Car Show and stayed with Trudy,she was elated and cooked us a Dutch dish of green beans,ham and potatos that was delicious. She took up to the Amish country ,saw the beatiful quilts,saw the laundry high on the lines running from house to barn on a pulley. Her favorite cookie was sand tarts. We also shared many nursing stories when working in the hospital and nursing homes. She was so proud of her son Daniel and grandchildren. Trudy was a very unique person and I will miss her deeply She is at peace now. My heart reaches out to Aunt Gert,Kathy,Mary Ellen, Dan and family at the loss of their loved one Joanne Dobrusky
