Annalea C. Frye Bingaman, 84, of Hummelstown, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Somerset County on April 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John L. Frye, Sr. and Ruth E. Baughman Frye.
Annalea retired from the Hershey Chocolate Company after 43 years of service. She was a 1946 graduate of the Shanksville Stoneycreek High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hummelstown. Annalea was an avid bowler and sports fan, especially the Steelers and Penn State. She loved to be around people, particularly spending time with her family; playing cards; and reading.
Annalea was preceded in death by her loving husband, Foster N. “Adam” Bingaman on April 16, 2004; and a brother, Richard Frye.
She is survived by three brothers, John L. Frye, Jr. of York, Arthur H. Frye of Allentown, and Thomas E. Frye husband of Lisa of Friedens; two sisters, Audra E. Frosbrink of Mars, and Eileen P. Baer wife of Barry of Friedens; numerous nieces and nephews; and her very dear friend Virginia Peterman of Florida.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 11 AM in Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 West Main Street, Hummelstown. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township. Friends are invited to a viewing in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM and on Wednesday in the church from 10 AM until time of the services.
