Obituary for Judith M. Flory (Piper)
Judith “Judy” M. Holton Piper Flory, 67, of Hummelstown, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018, in the Middletown Home, Middletown.
She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan, on April 9, 1950.
Judy married the love of her life, Ronald L. Flory on September 15, 1968. After 38 years of marriage, Ron passed away on March 30, 2007.
Judy worked as a CNA for Country Meadows and was a homemaker. She was a 1968 graduate of Lee M. Thurston High School in Michigan. Judy was a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America Central PA, and a founding member of its Keystone Region; and a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. Judy enjoyed shopping, using social media, gardening, and had a certificate for floral arranging.
She is survived by a daughter Heather M. Hardy married to James W. of Middletown; two sons, Christopher R. Flory married to Maria D. of Harrisburg, and Jason L. Flory married to Stephanie A. of Steelton; three grandchildren, Nicholas R. Flory of Middletown, Katherine M. Robyak and Julia F. Flory both of Steelton; her beloved Beagle Basset Hound Scooby; and has a multitude of family members throughout the United States, but was closest to her sisters, Arlene Bullock married to Rick of Indiana, and Darlene Polley married to Denny of Michigan.
Per Judy’s wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging at 2 South 2nd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
