Patricia A. Coldren Reigel, 84, of Hershey, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, in the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville.
Born in Oberlin on December 19, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Lyman D. and Thelma G. Hollingsworth Coldren.
Patricia retired as a critical care registered nurse for the Lebanon VA Hospital. She also was employed as a nurse for Seidel Hospital, Mechanicsburg, and the former Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg. Patricia was a longtime member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Military Order of the Purple Heart. A very unique woman, Patricia began Judo at age 55 and achieved green belt status. She also became a volunteer with the MS Society 150 Bike Tour and even rode in it as well.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ronald Reigel, Sr.; and two sons, Harry Ronald Reigel, Jr. and Randall Scott Reigel.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl R. Bentley partner of Thomas Claytor, Sr. of Harrisburg; five sons, D. Brett Reigel husband of Lisa of Ashburn, VA, Brandon Michael Reigel of Annville, Douglas Bradley Reigel of Phoenix, AZ, Chad Michael Reigel husband of Angela of Quarryville, and Todd Michael Reigel husband of Valerie of Warrenton, VA; two brothers, Lyman Coldren III of Port Lucie, FL, and Donald Coldren of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren, Aaron Reigel, Jared Bentley, Nathan Bentley husband of Heather, Lindsay Rogers wife of John, Michael Reigel, Alexandra Reigel, Chandler Reigel, Keenan Reigel, Delaney Reigel Taylor Reigel, Jordyn Reigel partner Daniel Paddock, Jensen Reigel fiancée of Austin Newcomer, and Grayson Reigel; 9 great grandchildren, Anthony Bentley, Riley Bentley, Adrianna Bentley, Marissa Bentley, Maia Bentley, Clare Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Landry Paddock, and Bo Paddock; and two sisters-in-law, Gloria Reigel wife of Bradley of Lebanon and Chere True of Harrisburg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 11 AM in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Fr. Neil S. Sullivan as celebrant. Inurnment will be in Fishburn Cemetery, Hershey. Rosary will be recited in the church on Saturday at 9:30 AM with a visitation following from 10 AM until time of the service.
